About Victoria Cliche, President and CEO, Creative Education Foundation
As founder and head of Victory Consulting Inc. since 2000, Victoria Cliche has helped Wall Street firms, independent proprietors and not-for-profit organizations improve all phases of management – including assessment, program and communication strategy design, execution, evaluation and follow-up, process redesign, executive coaching and staffing.

Victoria’s creative endeavors range from studying architecture and drafting to leading training and applying Myers-Briggs approaches. Her creative and spiritual life is enhanced through using The Artist’s Way “morning pages” practice and having completed a four-year program in Integrated Kabbalistic Healing. She participated in her first Creative Problem Solving Institute in 2005. Parenthood for three young children offers endless opportunities for exploring and developing the life of the imagination.

While attending the Stern Business School at NYU, she was awarded the Management Consulting award for research on “Best Practices of Internal Management Consultants” for the Association of Internal Management Consultants. As an adjunct professor at Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, she taught an undergraduate course on “Designing Training for the Organization” in the technical communications program. Victoria is a certified Goldratt Institute Jonah and Myers-Briggs instructor.

Victoria began her corporate career at Smith Barney in 1986, after graduating from the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in advertising. In her seven years at Smith Barney, Victoria’s focus was retail brokerage. Working in both front and back office management, she created a number of internal training programs. She authored the Sales Assistant Reference Guide and was chief editor of the Branch Manager Compliance Manual and the Office Administrator Reference Guide. Victoria was responsible for the design, testing and training of the market data, account information and client management systems associated with a nation-wide conversion of over 10,000 retail brokers to a new broker workstation architecture.

Leveraging her expertise and keen attention to process, as well as an appreciation of learning and teaching, Victoria joined Instinet in 1993 charged with creating a technical training department. This endeavor resulted in 200 internal classes (26 topics) conducted for more than 1200 learners annually – directly impacting the support areas of the company. Based on this success, Victoria was promoted in 1996 to vice president of corporate development, responsible for providing corporate-wide training globally, internal consulting, executive coaching and team analysis.

As vice president of strategy communications, Victoria created and launched a Global Internal Communication Strategy which included the creation of the first-ever corporate intranet, semi-annual town hall meetings conducted globally by the CEO, as well as facilitated management strategy discussions. She served on the Global Brand Design Team (which created an award-winning ad, recognized as The Wall Street Journal’s “Most Recognized Advertisement” and an industry award for “Best Business to Business Award”), as well as on a 13-member task force working with the chairman of the board to define the strategic vision of the company.

Victoria is happily married to Bert Cliche. They enjoy their three children. November 2007.
